Mark IV - The Fortissimo

Mark III

Mark III has been our best robot yet. Decked out in carbon fiber and rocking his meccanum wheels he consistently scores high and is very strong. Mark III can hold four blocks and score them in any of the four pendulum baskets, scoring around 24 blocks per match. Mark III raises the flag in less than 5 seconds and lifts on the pull up bar in the same. Mark III has a double hang bar that flips forward during the end game for other robots to hang on.

Using Mark III we made it to 3rd place at the 2013-2014 FTC World Championship and we became the 2nd Seed Alliance Captains.

Brock

Brock was a very good robot. His omni-directional drive made him very quick and extremely menuverable, he was very good at zipping around defense. Brock's LARM (Lift And Retrieval Mechanism) could hold two rings, place either both together or on seperate pegs. The LARM also made it easy for Brock to reach over almost all robots sitting on the board playing defense.

Using Brock the Romanian team Auto Vortex made it into 9th place at the 2012-2013 FTC World Championship.

Fun Fact: Brocks Drivetrain was a early version of Meccanum Wheels

Miss Coils

Mrs. Coils was our first robot. She picked up the raquet balls from the back and used a conveyor belt system to take the ball to the top, where it would fall down a slide into the basket which was being held by an arm at the front. Mrs. Coils had a 6 ft. lift and could easily get on the ramp. Mrs. Coils was also able to bush the bowling ball durring the autonomous period.

Using Miss Coils we made it to 11th place at the 2011-2012 FTC World Championship.
